O&C have just completed the first phase of a complete upgrade of Building 577 and 578 at Heathrow Airport. CFL Ltd is a major courier company managing parcels to be imported and exported via flights to and from Heathrow Airport.

The scope of the work was to completely up-grade an old existing warehouse to extend the operation into the adjacent building to allow CFL to handle additional imports and exports. While the works was taking place it was vital the client was able to continue operations.

The warehouse is approximately 1200 sq metres where O&C installed a high level LES lighting system controlled by presence detectors; all necessary single and three phase distribution boards for the installation of X-Ray machines, scissor lifts, conveyors and auxiliary equipment. The Contract included the upgrading of offices that were refurbished with the installation of new LED lighting panels, power and date distribution.

The contract also included containment and wiring for the client’s data systems, small power systems, lighting, sub main distributions, CCTV, traffic control barriers and weigh scales.
